  This kayak adventure Had it all! Nelson our guide and Tyler our van driver Prepared us for the trip with safety instructions and pointed out geological and historical fun facts unique to this area. Once we got to the river they ensured our safety and comfort in the raft and for me the inflatable kayak. The river itself provided a scenic journey with just enough rapids to provide some excitement but not too much for this adventurous grandma! The water was brisk at 55 degrees and a stop at some hot springs was a welcomed interlude! Eagles, otters , fascinating rock formations were spotted as the 1100 CFS current carries us comfortably downstream. I didn’t want it to end but when we came to the pullout there was a delicious spread of fruit and sandwich fixings for all! Thanks to AVA adventures and Nelson and Tyler for their expertise, engaging personalities that made this an experience not to be missed!

  Great trip. AVA were very organized,professional and fun. Our guide, Christine, was wonderful and really looked out for our group. Recommend taking the inflatable kayaks for added fun factor as the rapids on this stretch are pretty tame.

  We rented 3 inflatable Kayaks from the Kremling office which easily fit in our midsize SUV. We paddled the Pumphouse to Radium stretch of River. The kayaks were easy to inflate and handled the whitewater perfectly. We took our time and hit the hot springs, had lunch and the whole trip took about 2 1/2 hours. AVA shuttled our car to Radium while we rafted. This is a great trip to take with or without a guide. I would definitely do this trip again.

  Our group of 9 had a blast today. Graham was our guide and he was awesome. But, all the guides were great and kept us laughing and having fun all day. Even the bus ride was fun! Highly recommend!

  We had a wonderful time with our guide Max. He was awesome and the trip itself was great. We had a 4 yr old and 7 yr old with us and it was PERFECT for them and us! Highly recommend.

  The people are so nice and helpful we had a great time!! Our guide was great and told us exactly what to do in our kayak. The trip down the river was beautiful we saw Bald Eagles and Long Horn Sheep too.

  We actually did a half day raft trip. Alexander, our guide, was awesome! Friendly, funny, knew tons about the area. The whole thing was easy, fun, stress free, which is hard to find with kids ranging from 6-15 years. We went May 28, but the weather was great, just wore long sleeve tech fabric and we’re comfortable. Did a level 2 when the water was low, and we’ll definitely do a higher one next time, but it was perfect for little kids going first time.

  We did the 1/2 day excursion. It was myself and my 2 boys ages 16 and 4. The experience as a whole was great. We had Ian and David on the bus giving us informative information as well as cracking jokes and makes the bus ride time go by. Once we got there David was our raft guide. He was great with getting us ready to raft and was wonderful with the kids. We had 3 children in our raft and he was wonderful with all of them and making sure to include them in directions and the experience. My only downfall which has nothing to do with AVA was my GPS took my from the Beaver Creek area up a road called Trough Rd. I DO NOT recommend. Check your GPS first. This road was super scary to drive if your not comfortable with mountain driving. We took a new way home that was much easier.
